Why is athlete lab different?
At the Lab we use real road bikes; our Adjustabikes, with proper groupsets, cranks and thus can replicate your correct riding position. Forget flywheels and accept no substitutes. Our load generators on the rear wheels are the best is class and have accurate, repeatable measurement adjusting load 100 times per second to exactly replicate rolling road feel.
Road biking experience indoors
We specialise in helping riders of all levels learn to utilise power based training to get quick results. Our Shane Sutton Method sets are the same the pros crank out and are impossible to recreate safely on the road. Train at the edges of you ability and push yourself to the limits.
Scientific approach to training
All ride data is uploaded to your Strava and Trainingpeaks account after each ride and contains a full performance profile. Because our rides are comparable to training outdoors you can compare wattage, cadence and time in the saddle to rides outside. We also utilise the same physiological testing markers that pro athletes use (calipers, lactate threshold,power profile etc) to help you measure improvement.
We do not employ spin instructors. Our cycling coaches include national level age group triathletes, regular bike racers, ex pro peloton riders and share a passion for helping athletes of all levels unlock their potential.

No bike needed
No one wants to lug their bikes around town but you also don’t want to be stuck on a funny indoor bike with a flywheel or other supposedly accurate bikes which measure your wattage but have a ride position nowhere near a real road bike. Problem solved; our Adjustabikes are waiting

Want to give the training a nudge to get the results you deserve this year? Our coaches walk the walk and are happy to share. Do you shoot out the peloton “back door” when the road kicks up? Drop into the Lab and we can help you start to do the dropping!
Our coaches have represented GB at long at short course and won their fair share of podiums. We can help you get off the bike ready to run. Sets like Ironmania prepare you like no other so get involved. Whether training for your first enticer race or trying to get that elusive ticket to the Big Island we know racing.
From Box Hill to Batam (a small island in Indonesia which is a favourite with our Singapore Lab riders!) our riders rock the house from sportives to stage races. Shane Sutton also knows a thing or two about getting the best out of athletes. If you run into him at the Lab get him to give you the Decisions, Behaviours and Coping speech. You’ll be glad you did.
